RESIN 22 COMPLETE BACKGROUND SURFACES MODULE
The Preparation Group were the hosts for Resin 22 this month. The group covered the essential techniques of proper floor preparation and continued, through a combination of classroom teaching and practical experience, with the various methods of surface preparation and choice of equipment available.
Apprentices in this group are: Nicholas Dinsdale (IRL Group), Marvin Hall (KDH Projects), Sam Nunn (Ryebrook Resins), Benjamin Vaughan (Euro Resin Solutions Ltd), Joshua Jordan Smart (Euro Resin Solutions Ltd), Adam Chantry (TPS360 Limited), Ieuan Harding (TPS360 Limited) and Bradlee Williams (TPS360 Limited).
CITB FUNDING
Boost skills for Business Growth with the Skills and Training Fund
Do you need your staff to have a blue CSCS card?
Need staff to have a NVQ Level 2 or above?
Are you CITB registered?
CITB have an opportunity to gain the qualification at no cost!
There is up to £5,000 funding available for those employing fewer than 49 employees, £7,500 for employers with 50 – 74 employees and £10,000 for employers with 75 – 99 employees. This fund can be used to support the training costs around On-Site Assessment & Training NVQs (OSAT) as well as other construction skills training.

NEW APPRENTICESHIP STARTS
FeRFA are looking at starting a new RESIN apprenticeship scheme at the end of March, along with a SCREEDING apprenticeship, also at the end of March.
As mentioned above, generous grants are available to eligible CITB levy payers and FeRFA are able to help with the grant application process.
