Ultrasyntec provides the perfect floor for a growing food business
A successful olive and Mediterranean food business, and long-standing customer of UltraSyntec Ltd, needed to create an extension for its ever expanding company.
As the area in question was for food production it meant taking extra care to provide the correct environment. UltraSyntec was tasked with designing and implementing a full stainless steel drainage system which would feed into a fat trap container underground, before the waste water vacated the building. The floor was prepared, primed and 9mm of Food Safe Polyurethane Screed applied. Coved skirting was then installed around the perimeter walls, to create a seamless floor system. The overall size was 670 square metre and the project was completed over the Easter bank holiday period to keep disruption to a minimum.
