Ucrete UD200 in Food Production Areas
Client: Kanes Foods
Kanes Foods continued their long association with Ucrete in the production areas of their new factory, choosing to stick with the product they know and trust, despite a number of cheaper alternatives being available.
Having already had thousands of square metres of Ucrete UD200 laid in their existing factories on this site, Kanes Foods insisted on the combination of the premium BASF polyurethane resin product laid by Lasercroft in their new salad processing factory.
After installation of a relatively small amount of polymer modified screeding to address levels, approximately 4,000m2 of Ucrete UD200 was applied to the ground and first-floor slabs.
Kanes Foods recognise that the heavy-duty flooring system, known as the world’s toughest floor, stands up to the various degrees of traffic, thermal shock and chemical attack whilst providing a safe, slip-resistant surface in the multiple environments found on site.
