Mastertop Seamless Cleanroom Resin Flooring

Following the specification of this relatively new Mastertop system by GSS Architecture of Harrogate, Lasercroft were contracted by Hull based building firm Hobson & Porter to carry out the installation along with the associated sub-floor & coving works.

The system was ideally suited to this hygienic area, used to sterilise various endoscopes prior to use on patients. Alan Cotton, Business Development Manager of BASF CC UK, commented “Mastertop 1327 has great functionality in being attractive, hard wearing, easily cleaned and supports no bacterial ingress due to its seamless nature,” attributes which were no doubt at the top of the architects list. Alan went on to add, “it is also chemically resistant but has the added advantage of being comfortable and supportive for the operatives engaged in the laboratory and reducing significantly sound transfer, its life expectancy will easily exceed 10 years.”

The system is part of the Mastertop 1300 series of flexible, flow applied polyurethane resin systems (FeRFA Type 5) which are excellent alternatives to traditional vinyl systems, providing more hygienic, longer lasting flooring solutions.
