First Screeding Apprentices Qualify for NVQ level 2 Diplomas
Congratulations to Thomas Henderson and Michael Gibbs, from Trent Construction Services, who are the first two apprentices on the FeRFA screeding apprenticeship to qualify under the scheme.
The two year screeding apprenticeship, developed in partnership with and grant funded by the CITB, was launched in March 2015. Trent Construction Services provided excellent support to their apprentices throughout the training and assessment periods, enabling them to become an industry first.
Of their achievement, Chris Henderson, MD of Trent Construction Services Ltd, said, “Thomas & Michael have both worked extremely hard over the past couple of years and we’re proud to see that this commitment has been recognised in them achieving this qualification.”
We are delighted for them both, this is a great achievement. Throughout the two-year pilot scheme, Thomas and Michael have shown such a positive and enthusiastic attitude to learning both the theory and the practical elements for each training module. Their progress has been clearly evidenced by their increased level of skill and competence. The achievement of the NVQL2 is well deserved.
Good luck to them with their careers and we hope to welcome them both to the apprentice graduation at the Belfry in November to receive their framed certificates.
