FeRFA Best Practice Awards 2016

FeRFA recognised excellence in resin flooring at a glittering awards ceremony held in the Woodlands Suite of the Belfry Hotel.

Over 250 guests were entertained by radio and TV personality Colin Murray before presenting the awards which celebrate the workmanship, diversity, innovation and commitment to quality and training shown by its members. From a short list of excellent projects of great quality and variety, the judges had the difficult job of choosing the winners in the four categories as follows: Small Industrial Project of the Year (presented by Ian Rimmer of sponsors Huntsman Polyurethanes) Winner: REPROTEC UK and ALTRO for Walkers Snack Foods Highly Commended: RESIN COATING SPECIALISTS and FLOWCRETE for Larton Farm Cattery Large Industrial Project of the Year (presented by Ian Rimmer of sponsors Huntsman Polyurethanes) Winner: IRL GROUP and REMMERS for Project Hercules Rolls Royce Small Commercial Project of the Year (presented by Emel Jami and Harald Maul of sponsors by Innoveo / Dorfner) Winner: SURTECH and ALTRO for Emilia Wickstead Highly Commended – SPHERE8 and REMMERS for Ruby Violet Wharf Road Large Commercial Project of the Year (presented by Barry Nicol of sponsors Stallard Kane Associates) Winner: POLYDECK RESINS and ALTRO for University of West of England Bristol Highly Commended – SPHERE8 and REMMERS for Gasholders Kings Cross
