directly undertake the physical investigation of site problems but it does operate a
complaints procedure and any complaint involving a member company should be
addressed to the FeRFA Office.

We investigate problems with respect to all types of polymeric flooring – epoxies, polyurethanes, resin-cement systems etc, right through from on-site investigation to analysis, written report, photographs and appear as expert witness in court if litigation ensues.

 Aston Services is a company of consulting material engineers which provides a complete range of independent and confidential consulting, research, development and materials testing services to the civil engineering and construction industries. Based in Aston Science Park, Aston University, Birmingham it has access to laboratory facilities, expertise and specialised knowledge derived from research in a variety of disciplines.
Approved to carry out specific United Kingdom Accreditation Services (UKAS) tests. Its specialist team of Scientist and Chartered Chemist and Engineers are able to undertake a wide range of on-site and laboratory testing inspection services, ranging from microscopic analysis of samples for ASR, carbonation, HAC, chloride, sulphate attack, reinforcement corrosion through to full scale testing /appraisal of civil engineering structures. In addition the company specialises in developing procedures for assessing performance and durability of materials.
