National Flooring ‘meats’ expectations of local butchers

Hambleton Farms, based in East Anglia called on The National Flooring to provide a durable resin flooring solution for the refurbishment of the floors in the kitchen and blast chiller at its new premises in Rutland.

Family run business Hambleton Farms grow naturally raised British native beef and lamb. Conservation and environmental integrity are the backbone of their farms, stock is extensively grass fed, supplemented by home grown winter feed. Hambleton Farms is a small, established company with all of its sites located within East Anglia. As part of their growth, the company decided to purchase a new establishment at a new location based in Rutland. The company decided to renew the flooring in the kitchen & blast chiller as the existing epoxy resin floors had become worn and were in need of renovation and a new degree of slip resistance. Having researched various flooring options the company approached Degafloor for advice on a durable, resin flooring solution. Degafloor asked The National Flooring Company due to their expertise to assist in helping Hambleton Farms find the perfect floor. After discussions between The National Flooring Company and Management at Hambleton Farms the Degafloor FB system was chosen due to it’s hygienic, hard wearing and slip resistant properties. The project was planned for a 2 day closure and therefore it was vital that the installation was effectively planned and managed to ensure the refurbishment did not exceed this. Due to the quick curing nature of the MMA resin The National Flooring Company were confident that the flooring would be installed within the working window set out by Hambleton Farms and all equipment could be back in place ready for the client to get back to work immediately. Following on from the successful installation The National Flooring Company were asked to supply Polyurethane flooring to one of Hambleton Farms contacts.
