Mainline Picture Frame Mouldings is a Nottingham- based, family run company specialising in the supply of Polcore recycled polystyrene extruded moulding and wood moulding picture frames.

Well known within the art and framing industry, Mainline offers one of the widest ranges of framing supplies in the UK, with customers including art galleries, picture framers, photographers, artists and hobbyists. Operating to the highest standards of quality and workmanship, and continually striving to exceed customer expectations, the company was looking to update and replace the flooring within their new build showroom and offices. In particular, they were looking for a subtle, elegant alternative to the existing traditional vinyl flooring and specified that the new floor should also be scratch resistant to accommodate the castor wheels of the office chairs. A seamless elastic polyurethane floor provided the obvious solution, with the client selecting the Comfort Floor finish recommended by Zenith Pola Flooring. As well as being extremely durable and scratch resistant, this attractive floor has excellent acoustic qualities, is comfortable underfoot and very easy to clean, with minimal long term maintenance. Due to the porous substrate it was necessary to apply three primer coats as opposed to the standard one or two coats. Following this, 2mm of Sikafloor 327 was applied, providing the comfort element of the system, and to finish, two coats of coloured sealer was applied.
