IFT contracted by Brookfield Multiplex to supply RAF

IFT were contracted by Brookfield Multiplex to supply and install the raised access flooring to the Wood Group’s new Head Office at City Park, Aberdeen. Sir Ian Wood House officially opened in April 2016 which accommodates 1,650 employees.

The raised access flooring involved supplying and fitting over 19,000sqm of both bare and vinyl covered panels over varying void depths. This provided a fit out to Cat B to deliver Grade “A” specification office accommodation to the tenants global design standards. In addition to the raised access flooring we also installed 4,500sqm of Foamglas, 4,500sqm of self levelling screed and 2,500sqm of Flowcrete K-Screed throughout the building. We were subsequently instructed to install a car park deck waterproofing system extending to 4,500sqm. A project of this size and duration involved intensive management and supervision throughout and displayed the variety of integrated services that IFT are able to successfully install. Brookfield Multiplex operate to extremely demanding Health and Safety, Quality & Environmental standards which we met at every stage. We are delighted to have played an integral part in one of the largest new office developments in Aberdeen. “May I take this opportunity to thank IFT for a job well done on City Park 1. I would have no hesitation in working with IFT in the future or recommending them to potential clients.” Paul Miller, Site Engineer, Brookfield Multiplex
